in depth interview

An in-depth interview is an interview that allows addressing sensitive issues, taboos, personal questions, answers that can not be voiced in group (expense in the business environment, prohibited practices, abuse, unacceptable social behaviors).

The moderator of such an interview require special training that will allow practically "to fish" necessary information from respondents, representatives of specific groups: journalists, executives, public figures, politicians, children and young people with problems etc.

The structure of in-depth interviews, as well as their place of conducting, are flexible and can be adapted by necessity or convenience respondents ([imas] headquarters, park, restaurant, library/bookstore).

Also, the formula in which the interview will take place may vary between one and three participants, thus we will have interviews solo, duo or trio.
